Scottish Art Gift Guide
Looking for a gift with a real piece of Scotland in it? Everything here comes from my own paintings of Scotland, created in my studio on the west coast. You can choose by occasion, by budget or by where the gift is going. Every order includes free worldwide delivery.

A gift to keep for life
For a special birthday, an anniversary or retirement, I can paint an original of a place that means something to the person you are buying for. Commissioned originals start from around £95 for a small canvas. See commission an original painting for how it works.
Scottish gifts by occasion
- Christmas: the 2027 calendar, Scottish baubles, mugs and cards. Order early if the gift is going overseas.
- Birthdays: a print or canvas of a place they love, such as Skye, Glencoe, Arran or the River Clyde.
- Weddings and anniversaries: a signed canvas, an artist proof or a commissioned original of where you met, married or honeymooned.
- Housewarming: cushions, glass chopping boards, placemats or a canvas for the new living room.
- Retirement and leaving gifts: a framed print or commissioned painting. Colleagues can share the cost with a digital gift card.
- Thank you and get well: a card, a mug or a Scotland In Your Pocket print.
Sending a Scottish gift abroad
Many of my customers are buying for family and friends who have moved away from Scotland, or for people who have visited and fallen for it. A few things make this easier:
- Delivery is free worldwide on every order, and everything is packed carefully in Scotland.
- Allow time. In-stock items are usually dispatched within 3 to 5 working days. Made-to-order prints and canvases can take a little longer, plus international transit time.
- Import charges may apply in some countries and are paid by the recipient. See the shipping policy.
- Flat and light gifts travel best: calendars, cards, unframed prints and notebooks are easy to send.
- Not sure what they would like? A digital gift card arrives by email and lets them choose.
Not sure which painting to choose?
Start with a place they know. Browse by area: Skye, Glencoe, the Hebrides, lochs and mountains or Edinburgh and Glasgow. You can also see all my Scottish art gifts together. If you would like help, just get in touch and I will happily suggest something.
