I was contacted at the start of 2022 to paint a commission that was going to be given as a wedding present for an upcoming wedding from the husband to be for the bride to be.
I was contacted at the start of 2022 to paint a commission that was going to be given as a wedding present for an upcoming wedding from the husband to be for the bride to be.
He is from Scotland and she is from Northern Ireland and this was the spot where he proposed. He wanted to present this to her on the day of the wedding.
He asked for bright and happy colours that were similar to the weather on the day he proposed.
It was painted using base ayer acrylics followed with oil paint to give a very subtle shimmer depending on the time of day and viewing angle.
