I was born and raised in the shipbuilding town of Greenock and I have been painting since the age of 10. Having studied Interior Design in Glasgow for 4 years, my background hopefully adds an interesting dimension to the artwork. I achieved national design awards during my studies and after graduating worked in the field of film & theatre set design, a picture framer and an art gallery manager. Eventually, I found myself interested solely in painting.
My contemporary artworks vary from representational to atmospheric impressionistic (sometimes abstract) paintings and prints depicting Scotland’s landscapes and beyond. Influences while painting include travel, film and music." - Kevin
My artwork is available in many Scottish outlets, including the official Historic Scotland gift shops in Edinburgh, Stirling and Urquhart Castle. Also available in Eilean Donan Castle, The Whisky Castle, Edinburgh Airport, The Ballachulish Visitors Centre, Loch Fyne Oyster Bar, Castle Stalker, The Auchrannie Hotel amongst many Scottish independent outlets.

You would never want an identical replica of a painting but this gives you an idea of my painting style.
You can, of course, have your painting as similar as you want, but I find it's always good to let the creative juices get going (with the guidelines you give me before I get started).
Your original painting is painted onto a traditional depth (3/4 inch that is ideal for taking a local framer but I do offer a framing service) and arrives signed, titled, dated and sealed under a professional artist varnish.
Usually ready to send within 4-6 weeks but sooner deadlines are possible.
After the deposit payment is made I will then be in touch shortly after you place your order to check any tweaks to the colours, tones and overall feel of your original painting. You will also receive regular updates along the journey of the painting.
UK delivery is free and outside the UK will have a delivery charge but I will let you know the cost after you place your order (or please drop me an email to check before you place your order).
When I feel I have completed the painting I will present you with various final images and a video of your completed painting for your approval before dispatching (tweaks and changes are of course no problem).
After you have given me your approval on your painting, I will send you a link for the final balance of the payment.
An automatic discount will be applied at checkout of 50% of this price with the balance payable on completion and approval of your Artwork.
