Blue Door Burn Altmore Cottage Notebook
My Scottish Art Notebook | An A5 Artist Journal for Your Notes & Ideas
I've always believed that the place where you write your thoughts should be just as inspiring as the ideas themselves. That’s why I decided to feature my paintings on these beautiful A5 notebooks. I wanted to create a portable piece of Scottish art that you can carry with you - a perfect companion for your notes, dreams, and plans. Each journal is designed to be a joy to use, whether you're organising your day at work or capturing a moment of creative inspiration.
The Blue Door Burn Altmore Cottage Notebook from the Highlands & Lowlands Art Gallery Collection showcases a historic and iconic Scottish cottage scene, bringing a touch of heritage and artistry to your everyday writing. This notebook is not just a stationery item but a celebration of Scotland’s rich landscape and culture, making it ideal for those who appreciate art and history.
To ensure the quality is just right, the softcover features a vibrant, high-resolution reproduction of one of my original Scottish landscape paintings, protected by a smooth, scuff-resistant matte finish that feels wonderful to the touch. Inside, you'll find 100 pages of high-quality, 90gsm lined paper, which I chose specifically because it’s a pleasure to write on and prevents ink from bleeding through. The A5 format is my favourite - large enough for comfortable note-taking but compact enough to easily slip into a bag.
This notebook offers a versatile space perfect for daily journaling, study notes, or planning creative projects. Many users cherish it as a travel journal to document their adventures, while it also serves as a thoughtful giftware item for writers, artists, students, or anyone who loves to keep their thoughts organised in style.
