I commissioned a special version of this painting to remember the place where I got engaged to my fiance. We both love it - the painting captures the beauty of Luskentyre, and our lovely special memory of the place, perfectly.

I had contacted Kevin to commission a painting for an engagement gift for my Daughter and future Son in law. From first contact I was very impressed with Kevin’s professionalism and his ability to produce such stunning artwork. I received the commissioned painting today and it is even more beautiful than I had imagined. The lucky recipients will be blown away!

Within an hour or two from my first point of contact, Kevin reached out right away. We began exchanging emails on my thoughts and goals for the commissioned painting. He was always very responsive and kind, never failing to respond to any of my questions. He worked with me on colors, tone and mood for the painting and then got to work. The final product was beautiful and just what we had discussed. Highly recommend Kevin for any of your scenic Scottish imagery needs!

Beautiful painting commissioned for my daughters 30th.Very good communication and prompt response to any enquiries during the process.

Kevin was so wonderful to work with from day one. His communication was fantastic, and his work was absolutely perfect. The commission brought tears to all our eyes and was the perfect 40th gift for my brother. Thank you Kevin for everything you did for us (including the special delivery!). I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Kevin and his incredible talent to anyone in the future.

I commissioned a painting of a view from Lyle Hill for my wife's birthday. Kevin was great to deal with and very accommodating in terms of composition, colours, textures, etc, as well as being able to complete it in time for her birthday. It's a lovely painting and she seemed very happy with it.

The Ring of Brodgar is special to me and my family because it is part of Orkney, where my grandfather was born. I commissioned the painting, An Ethereal Ring of Brodgar, for my grandson, Alec, who has it hanging in his living room. I have ordered three Fine Art Prints of the painting to give as Christmas gifts to his mother, his brother, and his Uncle Sean so that everyone can enjoy Kevin's painting in their own homes. In the photo taken in 2003 at the Ring of Brodgar, you will see Alec perched on his Uncle Sean's shoulders with brother Christian by his side. Kevin's painting is a conduit to Orkney and special memories of our visit.

I commissioned a painting of a bay in Mallorca as a birthday present. Kevin was brilliant to deal with. I sent a few photos to him and he liaised regularly with me to ensure he got the style and tone I wanted. I was blown away by the end result. He captured so many details and the finished painting is just perfect. It makes such a unique gift and I'm already planning another commission - for myself, this time.

Excellent and inspiring

Excellent and inspiring - I commissioned a landscape (Lochindorb) from Kevin for my partner's special birthday. We communicated throughout and I felt involved and in control of the project in terms of general subject and view while Kevin as the artist gave the interpretation which brought it all together. The whole experience was great and inspired me to take up painting again after ten odd years off. Crucially, my partner was also delighted when she received it!

From start to finish, my experience working with Kevin Hunter on a commission of Duntrune Castle, Argyll Scotland, was extraordinary. He was quick to communicate with me once contacted, and allowed me to share not only what I was looking for in terms of style and mood, but also to express the depth of emotion I associate with the location. The finished product was beyond my highest hopes, and beautifully captured the mood, coloring and spirit of the castle and surroundings. The painting was carefully and protectively wrapped and prepared for the journey from Scotland to Florida, USA, and arrived in perfect condition. I couldn't be happier with the customer service, and will cherish the finished art piece for my lifetime!

I contacted Kevin to commission a painting of an Edinburgh park for some friends. After a discussion about what I was looking for and sending over some reference pictures Kevin mocked up an example for us. We worked together on some very small tweaks and the final painting is beautiful! Better than we could have hoped for and a really special gift. Kevin was so helpful and prompt at replying to emails, and providing suggestions. I would really recommend Kevin and would both buy his art work and commission him again!
