'Last Light, Toronto' is my interpretation of the Toronto skyline as daylight fades. In this painting, I wanted to express the transition from day to evening, focusing on how the light changes across the cityscape. The skyline appears more abstract here, with a blend of blue, purple, and hints of yellow, capturing the mood of that time of day. I deliberately chose to let the skyline mix into the broader composition, creating a subtle harmony between the city's structure and the expressive qualities of the sky. The painting uses a gradient effect, moving from darker shades at the top to lighter ones below, giving a sense of depth and atmosphere.

I trained in Interior Design in Glasgow and have experience in various creative fields, including film and theatre set design, picture framing, and gallery management.
