A Brooding Glen Varagil Glass Chopping Board
My Scottish Art Glass Chopping Board | A Kitchen Worktop Saver
I've always loved the idea of making art a practical part of the home, and the kitchen is the perfect place for it. That’s why I’m so excited to feature my paintings on these beautiful and incredibly durable glass chopping boards. I designed them to be a piece of functional art that protects your surfaces while bringing a vibrant splash of the Scottish landscape right into the heart of your kitchen. This is more than just a cutting board; it's a multi-purpose kitchen essential I use for food prep, as a heat-resistant trivet, or as a stylish serving platter.
To ensure the quality is exceptional, each board features a stunning, high-resolution reproduction of one of my original paintings, viewed through crystal-clear, polished glass that makes the colours truly shine. I’ve chosen high-quality, tempered glass for its incredible durability, so it's designed to withstand the demands of a busy kitchen - it’s heat-resistant and completely scratch-proof. The non-porous surface is also hygienic and easy to clean.
The design showcased on this board is 'A Brooding Glen Varagil,' capturing the atmospheric mood of the Hebridean Islands with rich, evocative tones that bring the essence of Skye’s dramatic landscapes into your home. This unique piece embodies the spirit of the glens and the rugged beauty of the Scottish Highlands, making it a perfect addition for anyone who appreciates nature-inspired art.
For practicality, each board is fitted with small, non-slip rubber feet to ensure it stays firmly in place while protecting your worktops. It’s a wonderful and unique housewarming gift, a wedding present, or a special treat for anyone who loves cooking, art, and Scotland.
