Fairy Pools Skye Dawn Cushion
My Scottish Art Cushions | Decorative Throw Pillows for Your Home
I believe a great cushion should be two things: incredibly comfortable and beautiful to look at. I designed these decorative throw pillows to be just that - a piece of my art that you can actually use and lean on every day. It’s a wonderful and simple way to bring a splash of the Scottish landscape into your living room, adding a unique, artistic touch to your sofa, armchair, or bed.
The Fairy Pools Skye Dawn Cushion captures the enchanting dawn hues of the Hebridean Islands, offering a serene and captivating focal point for any room. Inspired by the tranquil waters and rugged beauty of Skye, this cushion reflects the delicate light and colours that define the early morning hours, making it an exquisite addition for those who appreciate nature’s subtle artistry.
To ensure the colours of my original painting are stunningly reproduced, I use a state-of-the-art dye sublimation printing process. This technique infuses the ink directly into the soft, durable fabric, guaranteeing the artwork has exceptional vibrancy and won't fade or peel over time. The result is a richly detailed and long-lasting design that preserves the essence of the Scottish landscape.
Each cushion features a practical, concealed zipper, allowing you to easily remove the cover for cleaning, and comes complete with a plump and comfortable 100% polyester fibre insert. For your peace of mind, the filling is flame-retardant and fully complies with UK safety standard BS 5852. This combination of style and safety makes it perfect for everyday use and a thoughtful gift for anyone who loves distinctive homeware with a story.
Part of the Skye Art Gallery Collection, the Fairy Pools Skye Dawn Cushion embodies the spirit of Skye through the unique vision of Kevin Hunter. Whether for your own home or as a special gift, this cushion brings a touch of Scotland’s natural beauty and artistic heritage into your space.
