Welcome to the Modern Scottish Art Collective—a curated showcase of contemporary creativity from across the Highlands and Islands. This exclusive collection, hand-selected by Kevin Hunter, brings together a community of independent makers and award-winning artists who share a passion for the rugged beauty of Scotland.
Beyond Kevin’s own signature works, this collective features a diverse range of contemporary Scottish art and artisan-made products. From the atmospheric landscapes of Cath Waters to unique, handcrafted jewellery and home accessories, every piece reflects the "simplicity, space, and solitude" of the Scottish wilderness.
Explore a curated variety of Scottish-inspired treasures, including:
-
Artisan Jewellery & Accessories: Handcrafted pieces from The Scottish Sea Lass and Emily Gilbert, featuring shoreline-inspired designs and wearable art that capture the shifting colours of the coast.
-
Contemporary Art Prints: Atmospheric vistas of Glencoe, The Isle of Skye, and the Outer Hebrides from featured guest artists like Stephen Henry.
-
Scottish Homeware & Gifts: Unique finds from the Nancy Smillie Shop and Bonnie Bauble, including luxury candles, ceramic mugs, and coastal-themed decorations optimised for the modern home.
Whether you are seeking a statement piece of modern Scottish wall art or a unique gift from a local maker, the Modern Scottish Art Collective celebrates the vibrant spirit of Scotland’s current art scene. By shopping this collection, you are directly supporting a network of independent Scottish creatives.
