Exceptional Quality and Craftsmanship in Every Print:
Vibrant, Textured Giclée Canvas: Our prints are produced using the giclée printing technique on artist-grade cotton canvas. This method ensures remarkable clarity and depth, with each brushstroke and colour nuance faithfully reproduced. The textured surface adds a tactile dimension that breathes life into the artwork, making it feel almost like the original painting.
Archival Quality & 100+ Year Colour Guarantee: We use fade-resistant, archival-quality inks that guarantee your print will retain its vivid colours for over 100 years. This commitment to longevity means your artwork will remain a treasured feature in your home for generations.
Professional Gallery Stretcher Bars: The canvas is carefully hand-stretched around kiln-dried, knotless pine stretcher bars, ensuring a stable, warp-free frame. This professional approach preserves the integrity of the artwork, keeping it perfectly taut and ready to display.
Expertly Hand-Finished & Ready to Hang: Each canvas arrives fully finished with pre-installed hanging hardware. The image is gallery-wrapped, extending the artwork around the edges to create a seamless, polished appearance that looks stunning from every angle.
Celebrate the beauty of Hebridean Islands with a canvas that captures the essence of Uist and the Outer Hebrides, bringing a touch of Scottish artistry into your home.
My Signature Framed Canvas | The Modern Floating Frame
For those seeking an elegant and contemporary display option, the signature floating frame offers the perfect solution. This presentation style elevates your chosen Achiltibuie Canvas Print by combining the rich texture of a gallery-wrapped canvas with the refined sophistication of a solid wood frame.
The floating frame design creates the illusion that the canvas is suspended within the frame, a stylish and modern technique favoured by top art galleries worldwide. This effect adds depth and dimension, making the artwork a true focal point in any room.
Why Choose the Floating Frame?
The Modern Floating Frame: Crafted from minimalist, solid wood, the frame sits just off the edges of the canvas, producing a subtle shadow that enhances the floating effect. With a depth of 38mm, this frame offers a gallery-level finish that complements the artwork without overpowering it.
Premium Gallery-Wrapped Canvas: The canvas inside is the same high-quality giclée print on artist-grade cotton, with the image wrapped around the sides. This continuation adds visual interest and emphasises the three-dimensional quality of the piece.
100+ Year Colour Guarantee: As with all our prints, archival, fade-resistant inks ensure the colours remain vibrant and true for over a century, preserving the artwork's original brilliance.
Expertly Hand-Finished & Ready to Hang: The canvas is professionally mounted within the floating frame by a skilled team in the UK, arriving as a single, finished piece. It’s ready to display immediately, offering hassle-free installation and a polished look.
Perfect for art enthusiasts and collectors who appreciate the rich cultural tapestry of the Hebridean Islands, these Achiltibuie Canvas Prints from the Scottish Collection offer a timeless way to enjoy Scotland’s breathtaking landscapes. Whether displayed unframed or in the signature floating frame, each piece promises to enrich your home with artistry and heritage.
My Signature Framed Canvas | The Modern Floating Frame
For me, this is the ultimate way to display my art on canvas. The floater frame is my personal recommendation for anyone wanting to create a true statement piece for their home. It combines the rich, textured presence of a gallery-wrapped canvas with the refined elegance of a solid wood frame, creating a stunning, three-dimensional effect that I absolutely love.
The canvas appears to "float" within the outer frame, a sophisticated presentation style used by high-end art galleries around the world. It’s a beautifully finished, contemporary piece of wall art, designed to become the centrepiece of any room the moment it's hung.
Why I Believe This is the Ultimate Finish:
The Modern Floating Frame: I've chosen a minimalist, solid wood frame that sits just off the edge of the canvas. This creates a subtle shadow and the beautiful illusion that the artwork is suspended or floating. At a substantial 38mm deep, this frame adds a touch of gallery-level sophistication and provides a clean, polished edge to the artwork.
Premium Gallery-Wrapped Canvas: The artwork inside is my signature giclée canvas, printed on artist-grade cotton to capture the stunning clarity and detail of my original painting. The image continues around the sides of the canvas, which you can see in the "float" space, adding depth and interest.
100+ Year Colour Guarantee: Just like all my fine art prints, this framed canvas is created using archival, fade-resistant inks. I’m proud to guarantee that the colours will remain rich, deep, and true for over a century.
Expertly Hand-Finished & Ready to Hang: The canvas is professionally mounted within the floater frame by a specialist team here in the UK. The entire piece arrives as a single, solid unit. It is a complete, finished work of art, ready for you to display.
