About this painting.
As a Scottish artist, the soul of Scotland flows through my veins and onto my canvas. My original painting, "Scalpsie Bay," is more than just a depiction of a place; it's a piece of my heart, a testament to the profound beauty of my homeland. I, Kevin Hunter, sought to capture the very essence of this tranquil corner of the Isle of Bute, a place that holds a special significance for me.
Scalpsie Bay, with its whispering waves and expansive sky, is a landscape that speaks to the spirit. In this piece, I wanted to convey the serene atmosphere of the bay, the gentle lapping of the waves against the shore, and the breathtaking views across to the Isle of Arran.
