Commission Your Own Bespoke Painting of Scotland
As a Scottish artist deeply inspired by the rugged beauty and shifting moods of Scotland's landscapes, I specialise in commissioned artwork that authentically captures the essence of our unique environment. Whether you are drawn to the haunting morning mists or the vibrant hues of a dramatic sunset, each piece is created to reflect the distinctive atmosphere that defines Scotland’s natural scenery. Partner with me to create an original painting that not only complements your interior but also resonates personally with your vision and experiences.
A Collaborative Process:
Your vision is central to the creation of your bespoke artwork. Through close collaboration, we will explore the key elements that make your painting truly unique. From fine-tuning the colour palette to harmonise with your space, to capturing the fleeting light and atmospheric conditions that characterise Scottish landscapes, every detail is tailored to your preferences. The Brodgar Mist - Original Scottish Landscape Painting, featured in the Orkney Art Gallery Collection, serves as an inspiring example of this approach. Alternatively, we can develop a completely new scene inspired by your photographs, memories, or ideas, ensuring a personal and meaningful piece.
Commission Details:
Original paintings typically require around 4 weeks to complete, allowing for careful attention to detail and the nuanced rendering of Scotland’s atmospheric qualities. However, I strive to accommodate tighter deadlines when needed. Each artwork is produced on a premium, deep-edge canvas with a thickness of 3.8cm (1.5 inches), offering a substantial presence and durability. Bespoke sizes are available to ensure a perfect fit within your chosen setting. For an added touch of refinement, professional framing services are offered at wholesale prices. Please get in touch to discuss framing options or any other specific requirements you may have.
Choosing to commission an original painting from the Orkney Art Gallery means investing in a truly unique artwork that embodies the spirit of Scotland’s landscapes and your personal connection to them. This approach ensures each piece not only enhances your interior but also becomes a cherished heirloom, reflecting both the timeless beauty of the natural world and your individual story. The Brodgar Mist painting exemplifies the subtle interplay of light, colour, and atmosphere that defines the Scottish environment, making it an ideal reference for those seeking a bespoke landscape painting rooted in authenticity.
