About this painting.
As a Scottish artist, I am deeply inspired by the dramatic landscapes of my homeland. In my original painting, "Dusk Over Arran and Bute," I sought to capture the fleeting moment when the setting sun casts a warm glow over the tranquil waters and majestic mountains of the Isles of Arran and Bute. This piece, available at the Arran Art Gallery, is a testament to the breathtaking beauty of Scottish landscape paintings.
I remember the evening well, standing on the shore and watching the sky transform into a canvas of vibrant colors. The last rays of sunlight painted the clouds in hues of orange, pink, and purple, reflecting a soft, ethereal light upon the water.
