Quality You Can Trust in Every Canvas:
Vibrant, Textured Giclée Canvas: Using the advanced giclée printing technique, the artwork is rendered onto a finely textured, artist-grade cotton canvas. This method ensures exceptional clarity and detail, with colours and brushstrokes that seem to leap off the surface, breathing life into every print.
Archival Quality & 100+ Year Colour Guarantee: Printed with fade-resistant, archival-quality inks, these prints promise enduring vibrancy. With a confidence backed by a century-spanning guarantee, your canvas will retain its rich colours and striking presence for generations to come.
Professional Gallery Stretcher Bars: The canvas is hand-stretched over kiln-dried, knotless pine stretcher bars, carefully selected to prevent warping or bowing. This ensures a perfectly taut surface that maintains the artwork’s integrity and presentation quality.
Expertly Hand-Finished & Ready to Hang: Every canvas arrives with pre-installed hanging hardware, allowing for immediate display. The canvas is finished with clean white edges, giving a crisp, contemporary look.
Celebrate the artistic heritage of Scotland with the Kelvingrove Art Gallery Dusk Canvas, part of the Edinburgh & Glasgow Art Gallery Collection, a proud representation of Scottish art prints.
My Signature Framed Canvas | The Modern Floating Frame
To elevate your art display, consider the signature floating frame option. This contemporary framing technique provides a sophisticated, three-dimensional effect that enhances the textured depth of the stretched canvas. It is the ideal choice for those seeking a statement piece that blends elegance with artistic authenticity.
The floating frame creates the illusion of the canvas hovering within a solid wood border, a style favoured by eclectic galleries worldwide. This presentation not only protects the artwork but also adds a refined visual impact, making it a focal point in any room.
Why Choose the Modern Floating Frame for Your Canvas:
The Modern Floating Frame: Crafted from minimalist, solid wood, the frame is designed to sit slightly apart from the canvas edge, casting subtle shadows that enhance the artwork’s presence. With a depth of 38mm, it provides a gallery-standard finish that is both polished and understated.
Premium Stretched Canvas: The artwork is printed on artist-grade cotton using the signature giclée method. The canvas is finished with clean white edges, giving a crisp, contemporary look.
100+ Year Colour Guarantee: Like all fine art prints in this collection, the framed canvas utilises archival, fade-resistant inks. The colours are guaranteed to remain vibrant and true for over a hundred years, ensuring your investment in art remains timeless.
Expertly Hand-Finished & Ready to Hang: The specialist team in the UK professionally mounts each canvas within the floating frame, delivering a complete, ready-to-display artwork. The unit is solid and durable, designed to be a lasting addition to your home décor.
Available Frame Finishes: Silver, Gold, Brown, Natural, White & Black.
Whether you choose the unframed gallery-quality canvas or the signature floating frame, the Kelvingrove Art Gallery Dusk Canvas Prints offer a sophisticated way to bring Scottish heritage and artistic excellence into your home. Perfect for art lovers and collectors, these prints combine meticulous craftsmanship with enduring beauty, ensuring that every glance at your wall art is an immersive and inspiring experience.
My Signature Framed Canvas | The Modern Floating Frame
For me, this is the ultimate way to display my art on canvas. The floater frame is my personal recommendation for anyone wanting to create a true statement piece for their home. It combines the rich, textured presence of a stretched canvas with the refined elegance of a solid wood frame, creating a stunning, three-dimensional effect that I absolutely love.
The canvas appears to "float" within the outer frame, a sophisticated presentation style used by high-end art galleries around the world. It’s a beautifully finished, contemporary piece of wall art, designed to become the centrepiece of any room the moment it's hung.
Why I Believe This is the Ultimate Finish:
The Modern Floating Frame: I've chosen a minimalist, solid wood frame that sits just off the edge of the canvas. This creates a subtle shadow and the beautiful illusion that the artwork is suspended or floating. At a substantial 38mm deep, this frame adds a touch of gallery-level sophistication and provides a clean, polished edge to the artwork.
Premium Stretched Canvas: The artwork inside is my signature giclée canvas, printed on artist-grade cotton to capture the stunning clarity and detail of my original painting. Its clean white canvas edges sit neatly within the "float" space, adding depth and a crisp finish.
100+ Year Colour Guarantee: Just like all my fine art prints, this framed canvas is created using archival, fade-resistant inks. I’m proud to guarantee that the colours will remain rich, deep, and true for over a century.
Expertly Hand-Finished & Ready to Hang: The canvas is professionally mounted within the floater frame by a specialist team here in the UK. The entire piece arrives as a single, solid unit. It is a complete, finished work of art, ready for you to display.
