Our canvas prints offer more than just decoration - they provide a sensory experience. The depth and tactile texture of the artist-grade cotton canvas reproduce the intricate brushstrokes and vibrant colours of the original paintings with remarkable fidelity. This giclée printing technique ensures that every detail is rendered sharply, allowing you to appreciate the subtle nuances of light, shadow, and colour that define the Scottish wilderness.
Every canvas is hand-stretched over robust, kiln-dried knotless pine stretcher bars, guaranteeing the frame remains perfectly taut and resistant to warping over time. This meticulous attention to durability ensures your artwork will maintain its pristine condition for decades, backed by a 100+ year colour guarantee thanks to the fade-resistant archival inks used in printing.

My Signature Framed Canvas | The Modern Floating Frame
For those seeking an elevated presentation, the Modern Floating Frame is the perfect complement to the Loch Awe Canvas Prints. This bespoke framing solution enhances the artwork’s presence by creating a striking three-dimensional effect where the canvas appears to float within a solid wood frame. It’s an elegant fusion of contemporary design and traditional craftsmanship, ideal for making a bold statement in any space.
The floating frame, with its 38mm depth, provides a subtle shadow around the canvas edges, adding depth and sophistication akin to pieces found in premier galleries worldwide. The minimalist yet solid wood frame is available in a variety of finishes including Silver, Gold, Brown, Natural, White, and Black, allowing you to tailor the look to your decor.
Why Choose the Modern Floating Frame?
- Subtle Shadow and Depth: The frame sits just off the canvas edge, creating an illusion of suspension that enhances visual impact.

My Signature Framed Canvas | The Modern Floating Frame
For me, this is the ultimate way to display my art on canvas. The floater frame is my personal recommendation for anyone wanting to create a true statement piece for their home. It combines the rich, textured presence of a gallery-wrapped canvas with the refined elegance of a solid wood frame, creating a stunning, three-dimensional effect that I absolutely love.
The canvas appears to "float" within the outer frame, a sophisticated presentation style used by high-end art galleries around the world. It’s a beautifully finished, contemporary piece of wall art, designed to become the centrepiece of any room the moment it's hung.
Why I Believe This is the Ultimate Finish:
The Modern Floating Frame: I've chosen a minimalist, solid wood frame that sits just off the edge of the canvas. This creates a subtle shadow and the beautiful illusion that the artwork is suspended or floating. At a substantial 38mm deep, this frame adds a touch of gallery-level sophistication and provides a clean, polished edge to the artwork.
Premium Gallery-Wrapped Canvas: The artwork inside is my signature giclée canvas, printed on artist-grade cotton to capture the stunning clarity and detail of my original painting. The image continues around the sides of the canvas, which you can see in the "float" space, adding depth and interest.
100+ Year Colour Guarantee: Just like all my fine art prints, this framed canvas is created using archival, fade-resistant inks. I’m proud to guarantee that the colours will remain rich, deep, and true for over a century.
Expertly Hand-Finished & Ready to Hang: The canvas is professionally mounted within the floater frame by a specialist team here in the UK. The entire piece arrives as a single, solid unit. It is a complete, finished work of art, ready for you to display.
