Exceptional Quality Features:
Vibrant, Textured Giclée Canvas: Utilising giclée printing technology, the artwork is reproduced on artist-grade cotton canvas with fine texture that faithfully captures the intricate brushstrokes and rich colour palette. This method guarantees clarity and brilliance, offering a tactile finish that enriches the visual experience.
Archival Quality & 100+ Year Colour Guarantee: The use of fade-resistant, archival inks ensures your canvas will maintain its vivid colours for over a century, preserving the essence of Scottish landscapes and heritage for generations to come.
Professional Gallery Stretcher Bars: Each canvas is hand-stretched over kiln-dried, knotless pine stretcher bars, preventing warping or bowing. This craftsmanship ensures your art remains perfectly taut and displays with a professional gallery finish.
Expertly Hand-Finished & Ready to Hang: Delivered as a complete piece with pre-installed hanging hardware, the canvas is gallery-wrapped with the image extending around the edges, providing a seamless and sophisticated look from every angle.
My Signature Framed Canvas | The Modern Floating Frame
Elevate your Scalpsie Bay art print with our signature modern floating frame, designed to create an eye-catching statement in any room. This frame style combines the textured depth of the gallery-wrapped canvas with the refined simplicity of a solid wood frame, producing a stunning three-dimensional effect that showcases the artwork beautifully.
The canvas appears to “float” within the frame, a presentation style favoured by high-end galleries worldwide, lending a contemporary, elegant aesthetic to your wall art.
Why Choose The Modern Floating Frame:
Contemporary Solid Wood Frame: Crafted from high-quality wood and measuring 38mm in depth, this minimalist frame creates a subtle shadow around the canvas edges. This design not only adds visual interest but also brings a gallery-level sophistication to your display.
Premium Gallery-Wrapped Canvas: Featuring the same signature giclée printing on artist-grade cotton, the image continues around the sides of the canvas, visible within the floating space to enhance depth and allure.
100+ Year Colour Guarantee: Like all Arran Art Gallery prints, this framed canvas uses archival, fade-resistant inks to ensure enduring vibrancy and colour fidelity for over a century, making it a long-lasting investment in fine Scottish art.
Hand-Finished & Ready to Hang: Professionally mounted within the floating frame by UK specialists, the piece arrives as a solid, complete artwork, ready to enhance your interior immediately.

My Signature Framed Canvas | The Modern Floating Frame
For me, this is the ultimate way to display my art on canvas. The floater frame is my personal recommendation for anyone wanting to create a true statement piece for their home. It combines the rich, textured presence of a gallery-wrapped canvas with the refined elegance of a solid wood frame, creating a stunning, three-dimensional effect that I absolutely love.
The canvas appears to "float" within the outer frame, a sophisticated presentation style used by high-end art galleries around the world. It’s a beautifully finished, contemporary piece of wall art, designed to become the centrepiece of any room the moment it's hung.
Why I Believe This is the Ultimate Finish:
The Modern Floating Frame: I've chosen a minimalist, solid wood frame that sits just off the edge of the canvas. This creates a subtle shadow and the beautiful illusion that the artwork is suspended or floating. At a substantial 38mm deep, this frame adds a touch of gallery-level sophistication and provides a clean, polished edge to the artwork.
Premium Gallery-Wrapped Canvas: The artwork inside is my signature giclée canvas, printed on artist-grade cotton to capture the stunning clarity and detail of my original painting. The image continues around the sides of the canvas, which you can see in the "float" space, adding depth and interest.
100+ Year Colour Guarantee: Just like all my fine art prints, this framed canvas is created using archival, fade-resistant inks. I’m proud to guarantee that the colours will remain rich, deep, and true for over a century.
Expertly Hand-Finished & Ready to Hang: The canvas is professionally mounted within the floater frame by a specialist team here in the UK. The entire piece arrives as a single, solid unit. It is a complete, finished work of art, ready for you to display.
