Commission Your Own Bespoke Painting of Scotland
As a Scottish artist deeply inspired by the rich and diverse landscapes of Scotland, I specialise in commissioned artwork that captures the essence, mood, and unique light of these natural scenes. Whether you desire a tranquil loch at dawn or the vibrant colours of autumnal hills, together we can create a personalised piece that resonates with your vision and enhances your space.
A Collaborative Process:
Your vision is central to the creation of your bespoke painting. We will collaborate closely to select the key elements that bring your idea to life - from adjusting the colour palette to harmonise with your interior decor, to capturing the atmospheric mood of a dramatic sunset, misty morning, or serene coastline. As a starting point, we can use my The Shoreline ii - Original Abstract Impressionistic Painting from the Abstract & Impressionistic Art Gallery Collection as inspiration, or develop an entirely new scene based on your personal photographs and ideas. This collaborative approach ensures that the final artwork is not only original but also deeply meaningful to you.
Commission Details:
Each original painting typically takes around 4 weeks to complete, allowing time for detailed work and careful consideration of your preferences. If you require a tighter deadline, please let me know and I will do my utmost to accommodate your needs.
The paintings are created on premium-quality, deep-edge canvases measuring 3.8cm (1.5 inches) in depth, which provide a substantial presence on your wall. Bespoke sizing options are available, so your artwork can perfectly fit your chosen space, whether it's a cosy corner or a large feature wall.
Additionally, professional framing services are offered at wholesale prices to complete your artwork beautifully and protect it for years to come. Please get in touch for further information about framing options, sizes, and any special requests.
Why Choose an Original Abstract & Impressionistic Painting?
Original paintings like The Shoreline ii offer a unique blend of abstract and impressionistic styles, creating an evocative and expressive interpretation of Scotland’s landscapes. Unlike prints or reproductions, an original artwork carries the artist’s direct touch - the texture of brushstrokes, the layering of colour, and the subtle interplay of light and shadow - bringing vitality and depth to your interior.
This style is particularly well-suited for those who appreciate art that invites contemplation and sparks imagination. The abstract elements offer a modern and sophisticated aesthetic, while the impressionistic approach ensures a connection to the natural world through mood and atmosphere.
Perfect for Art For Interiors and Bespoke Spaces
Whether you are redecorating your home, designing a new office space, or looking for that special piece to complement your interior scheme, commissioning an original painting provides a personalised and timeless solution. By working directly with an original artist from Scotland, you gain not only a stunning artwork but also a piece that reflects your tastes and the spirit of Scottish landscapes.
My work is featured in the Abstract & Impressionistic Art Gallery, where art lovers and collectors find a diverse selection of original paintings. Each piece is designed to offer a fresh perspective on familiar scenes, making it an excellent choice for anyone seeking art that is both contemporary and deeply rooted in place.
