About this painting.
When I created this piece, I wanted to transport you directly into the quiet magic of the Scottish Highlands at night. As a Scottish Artist, my work is driven by the mood and "untamed spirit" of our landscapes, and this original artwork painted in Scotland is a personal reflection of that inspiration.
I painted this impressionistic night forest scene not just to show you what a wood looks like, but to make you feel the atmosphere. My focus was entirely on the light—that mystical, cool moonlight breaking through the dark canopy. I used a palette of deep blues, purples, and contrasting whites to capture the stillness and the ethereal glow that blankets the trees.
This Original Scottish Landscape Painting is more than just a picture; it's an invitation into a moment of tranquility. It's part of my Highlands & Lowlands Art Gallery collection, a body of work dedicated to capturing the timeless allure of Scotland, from the misty lochs to the ancient forests. I hope this painting brings a piece of that wild, moonlit magic into your space.
Thanks for viewing and reading about my artwork, and please don't hesitate to get in touch with any questions, Kevin.
