Ah, Ben Tee near Invergarry... standing before that Mountain, you really feel the majestic scale of the Scottish Highlands. When I set out to create this original painting, my goal wasn't just to capture the likeness of the mountain, but the feeling of being there – that vast, atmospheric sense of space and the unique Highland light.
You'll notice the textures I've worked into the foreground, trying to convey the rough, beautiful terrain underfoot. For me, painting Scottish landscapes is all about translating those sensory details.
