Commission Your Own Bespoke Painting of Scotland

As a Scottish artist based in the heart of Edinburgh, I specialise in creating commissioned original paintings that authentically capture the unique atmosphere, light, and spirit of Scotland’s landscapes. Whether it’s the historic grandeur of Edinburgh Castle or the serene beauty of the surrounding countryside, I work closely with you to craft a bespoke piece that reflects your personal vision and connection to Scotland.

A Collaborative Process:

Commissioning your own original Scottish landscape painting is a deeply personal journey. Your preferences and ideas guide each step of the creative process. Together, we will discuss and refine the key elements of your artwork, including the colour palette, composition, and mood to perfectly complement your interior décor or evoke a particular time of day - be it the golden hues of a dramatic sunset or the subtle mist of a tranquil morning.

For inspiration, you can choose to base your painting on my Edinburgh Castle - Original Scottish Landscape Painting, featured in the Edinburgh & Glasgow Art Gallery Collection, or we can develop a completely new scene inspired by your own photographs or concepts. This personalised approach ensures your commissioned artwork is truly one-of-a-kind.

Commission Details:

Each original painting typically takes around 4 weeks to complete, allowing me to carefully work through every detail to meet high artistic standards. I am happy to accommodate tighter deadlines when possible, so please don’t hesitate to enquire.

All paintings are created on premium, deep-edge canvas with a depth of 3.8cm (1.5 inches), providing a substantial and striking presence on your wall. Bespoke sizing options are available to ensure your artwork fits seamlessly into your space, whether it’s a cosy nook or a grand living room.

For those seeking a fully finished piece, professional framing services are offered at wholesale prices. To discuss framing options or any other questions, please get in touch directly.
