About this painting.
As a Scottish artist, few places speak to me as profoundly as Loch Tay. This vast, beautiful stretch of water in the heart of Perthshire is a constant source of inspiration, and my original painting, "Loch Tay II," is my attempt to capture its serene majesty.
This piece comes from my "Lochs & Mountains Art Gallery" collection. For me, it's not just about painting a static view; it's about capturing the feeling of being there. I've used an impressionistic style with rich, layered colours to convey the stillness of the water and the way the Highland light breaks over the distant mountains. This original Scottish landscape painting is my way of bottling that unique, tranquil atmosphere.
