About this painting.
As a Scottish artist, few places resonate with me as deeply as Loch Tay. Nestled in the heart of Perthshire, this expansive and breathtaking body of water has long been a wellspring of inspiration. My original painting, "Loch Tay II," is my heartfelt endeavour to capture the tranquil grandeur that this loch embodies.
Part of my "Lochs & Mountains Art Gallery" collection, this artwork transcends a mere representation of scenery. It seeks to convey the essence of being present in that serene environment. Through an impressionistic approach, I have layered rich, evocative colours to depict the stillness of the water and the delicate interplay of Highland light as it dances across the distant mountains.
