Commission Your Own Bespoke Painting of Scotland
As a Scottish artist, I specialise in commissioned artwork that captures the unique mood and light of our landscapes. Let's work together to create a piece that is uniquely yours. Each painting is imbued with an abstract and impressionistic style, offering a fresh and emotive interpretation of Scotland’s natural beauty. Whether you desire a sweeping vista or an intimate woodland scene, your commissioned artwork will reflect your personal connection to Scotland's rich environment.
A Collaborative Process:
Your vision is at the heart of the commission. We will collaborate on the key elements of your painting, from adjusting the colour palette to match your décor to capturing the mood of a dramatic sunset or a misty morning. For inspiration, we can use my Spirits Of The Forest - Original Abstract Impressionistic Painting from the Abstract & Impressionistic Art Gallery Collection as a reference point, or create a new scene based on your own ideas and photographs. This collaborative approach ensures that the final artwork resonates deeply with your aesthetic preferences and the atmosphere you wish to evoke within your space.
The abstract and impressionistic techniques employed allow for a dynamic play of colours and forms, creating an evocative sense of movement and emotion. This style is particularly effective for interior art, as it complements a wide range of decor styles while retaining a distinct character. Your bespoke painting will not only serve as a beautiful focal point but also as a meaningful piece that brings the spirit of Scotland into your home or office.
Commission Details:
Original paintings typically take around 4 weeks to complete, though I will do my best to accommodate tighter deadlines. Each painting is created on a high-quality, deep-edge canvas with a depth of 3.8cm (1.5 inches) and is available in bespoke sizes to fit your space. Professional framing is also available at wholesale prices – please get in touch for more information.
Choosing an original artwork from a dedicated Scottish artist offers several benefits:
- Uniqueness: Your commissioned painting will be one-of-a-kind, crafted specifically for you.
- Quality Materials: Using premium canvases and professional-grade paints ensures longevity and vibrancy.
- Customisation: From size to colour palette, every detail is tailored to your vision and space.
- Connection: Own a piece of art that embodies the spirit and landscapes of Scotland, painted by a local artist.
Additionally, the Abstract & Impressionistic Art Gallery offers a curated collection of original artworks that can serve as inspiration or complement your bespoke piece. This collection highlights the versatility and emotive power of abstract impressionism, showcasing how landscapes and natural elements can be interpreted through bold brushwork and nuanced colour schemes.
Whether you are an art collector, interior designer, or simply someone who appreciates original art, commissioning a painting is a rewarding experience that results in a personalised masterpiece. It also supports local Scottish artists, helping to sustain the creative community and keep traditional art forms alive and evolving.
