Commission Your Own Bespoke Painting of Scotland
As a Scottish artist, I specialise in commissioned artwork that captures the unique mood and light of our landscapes. Let's work together to create a piece that is uniquely yours.
A Collaborative Process:
Your vision is at the heart of the commission. We will collaborate on the key elements of your painting, from adjusting the colour palette to match your decor to capturing the mood of a dramatic sunset or a misty morning. For inspiration, we can use my A Moonlit Croft - Original Scottish Landscape Painting from the Historic & Iconic Art Gallery Collection as a reference point, or create a new scene based on your own ideas and photographs.
Commission Details:
Originals typically take around 4 weeks to complete, though I will do my best to accommodate tighter deadlines. Each painting is created on a high-quality, deep-edge canvas with a depth of 3.8cm (1.5 inches) and is available in bespoke sizes to fit your space. Professional framing is also available at wholesale prices – please get in touch for more information.
Discover the timeless beauty of Scotland through an original painting that captures the essence of its rugged landscapes and tranquil moods. A Moonlit Croft is a stunning example of how light and shadow interplay under the gentle glow of moonlight, creating an atmosphere that is both serene and evocative. This piece offers a unique glimpse into the historic and iconic scenery that defines Scottish heritage, making it a meaningful addition to any collection or interior space.
By commissioning your own bespoke painting, you are investing in a work of art that is tailored specifically to your preferences. Whether you desire a representation of a beloved location or a completely new vision inspired by Scotland’s natural beauty, the process is designed to be collaborative and personalised. Together, we will explore colour schemes, composition, and mood to ensure the final artwork complements your environment perfectly.
Each original painting is carefully crafted using premium materials to ensure longevity and vibrancy. The deep-edge canvas not only enhances the visual impact but also allows for professional framing options that can be customised to suit your style. This attention to detail guarantees a finished piece that is both a visual and tactile pleasure, ready to become a cherished focal point in your home or office.

This bespoke approach means your artwork will not only be visually striking but also resonate emotionally, capturing the spirit of Scotland in a way that mass-produced prints cannot.
To complement the creative process, a video has been added showcasing the painting’s details and the atmosphere it conveys. This visual insight helps you appreciate the subtle nuances of brushwork and colour that bring the scene to life.
Ordering your bespoke painting is straightforward. Simply reach out to discuss your ideas, preferred sizes, and any specific requirements. With a typical completion time of around four weeks, you can expect a carefully crafted original artwork that honours Scotland’s landscapes and your personal vision.
