Commission Your Own Bespoke Painting of Scotland
As a Scottish artist deeply inspired by the rich and diverse landscapes of Scotland, I specialise in creating commissioned original artworks that truly capture the distinctive mood, atmosphere, and light unique to our country. Whether it’s the rugged coasts, tranquil lochs, or iconic castles, each piece reflects the soul of Scotland’s natural beauty. By commissioning your own bespoke painting, you have the opportunity to bring a personalised piece of this heritage into your home or office, crafted specifically to your taste and vision.
A Collaborative Process:
The commission process is designed to be collaborative and tailored to your preferences. Your vision stands at the heart of the creation, with opportunities to influence every important detail. We will work together to decide on the colour palette to harmonise perfectly with your interior decor, whether you prefer the warm, glowing hues of a sunset or the soft, ethereal tones of a misty morning. To guide our creative journey, my Broughty Castle Sunset - Original Scottish Landscape Painting from the Historic & Iconic Art Gallery Collection serves as an inspirational reference, while you can also share your own ideas, photographs, or memories to shape a truly unique scene.
Commission Details:
Each original painting is crafted meticulously on a premium quality, deep-edge canvas measuring 3.8cm (1.5 inches) thick. This depth not only adds to the artwork’s presence but also makes it ready to hang without the need for additional framing, although professional framing options are available at wholesale prices upon request. Originals generally take around 4 weeks to complete, allowing careful attention to detail and artistic integrity, though I strive to accommodate tighter deadlines when necessary. Custom sizes mean your commissioned painting can be perfectly tailored to fit your space, making it a seamless addition to your environment.
By choosing to commission a bespoke Scottish landscape painting, you invest in a one-of-a-kind piece that not only enhances your living or working space but also preserves and celebrates the heritage and natural splendour of Scotland. Each work tells a story through its composition, lighting, and brushwork - qualities that digital reproductions simply cannot replicate. This level of artistry and personalisation ensures your commissioned painting remains a cherished heirloom for generations.
Whether you are drawn to the historic grandeur of castles, the serenity of the Hebridean Islands, or the breathtaking vistas of the Highlands and Lowlands, your commissioned artwork will be a true reflection of your connection to Scotland’s landscape. This personal approach ensures your painting is not just an image but an emotional and visual experience that transforms any interior.
