Commission Your Own Bespoke Painting of Scotland

As a Scottish artist rooted deeply in the rich tradition of landscape painting, I specialise in commissioned artwork that authentically captures the unique mood, light, and atmosphere of Scotland’s breathtaking scenery. Whether it’s the rolling Highlands, tranquil lochs, or the dramatic cityscapes of Edinburgh and Glasgow, each piece is crafted to encapsulate the essence of these iconic vistas. Collaborating with me means creating a painting that is truly yours, reflecting your personal connection to Scotland’s landscape and your aesthetic preferences.

A Collaborative Process:

The heart of every commission lies in your vision. Together, we will carefully explore the key elements that will bring your painting to life. This includes tailoring the colour palette to harmonise with your interior décor, selecting the perfect lighting to evoke either the warm glow of a fiery sunset or the serene stillness of a misty morning. For inspiration, we can draw from my acclaimed Kelvingrove Nights - Original Scottish Landscape Painting, part of the distinguished Edinburgh & Glasgow Art Gallery Collection, which showcases the evocative interplay of nightfall and urban landscape. Alternatively, I am happy to create an entirely new scene inspired by your own photographs or ideas, ensuring a piece that is unique and meaningful.

Commission Details:

Each original painting is meticulously created on a high-quality, deep-edge canvas with a thickness of 3.8cm (1.5 inches), offering both durability and a striking presence on your wall. The artworks are available in bespoke sizes tailored to fit your space perfectly, whether it’s a cosy nook or a grand feature wall. Typically, the creation process takes around 4 weeks, though I am committed to accommodating tighter deadlines whenever possible to meet your needs.

For those seeking a complete presentation, professional framing services are offered at wholesale prices. This ensures your commissioned artwork is not only a visual masterpiece but also presented with the highest standard of craftsmanship. Please get in touch to discuss framing options, custom sizes, or any other questions you may have regarding your bespoke painting.

By commissioning a bespoke landscape painting, you invite a timeless piece of Scotland’s natural beauty into your home or workspace.
